Fermo, Ascoli Piceno, Macerata and hundreds of small medieval villages, (which are all easily reachable from the farmhouse), offer churches, unexpected museums, monuments and works of great artists. These worksÝ offer far beyond their aesthetic value. They tell of a millenarian civilization, touched numerous times by the greatness of history. Besides Pagani, several artists have worked for patrons and purchasers of the Piceno. These include Carlo and Vittore Crivelli, Pietro Alamanno, Lorenzo Lotto, Jacobello del Fiore, and Pieter Paul Rubens to name but a few. The mild temperatures of winter, the exuberance of springtime, the fragrances of the lush flora and grasses of summertime and the explosion of autumn colours make this land a destination to rediscover in every season of the year.

Those who wish the majesty of the mountains can make daily excursions to the Sibillini Mountains: the Vettore, Sibilla, Priora (Mount Regina), the Lago di Pilato (Pilatus' Lake), Gola dell'Infernaccio...and then come comfortably back to the farmhouse in the evening.

Those who love the sea can reach the beach with just a brief drive along comfortable main roads. Porto San Giorgio and Pedaso are the closest seaside resorts, both having good tourist facilities. When satiated with the outdoors, walks, swimming and the beach and one wishes to escape the sun, coming back to this hill represents a refined continuity of a time that returns intensity and emotions.
